A Message from Director Gil Saldana 

I joined PPRS in June of 2006 hoping that I would get a few questions answered. Unfortunately, the questions I wanted answers to were not that anyone COULD answer. But, the drive within the team made me want to keep searching. The original “ABOUT US” made it clear what the intent was. It was to “Help Others.”

   The team went through a few changes… New directors, new faces, and even the loss of those we held close. After losing Trish and Donn it would have been easy to just let the whole thing fade away, but that wasn’t going to happen.

   PPRS had taken on a life of it’s own, driven by the passion to help and the hard work certain people gave tirelessly. Even a two year dry spell couldn’t kill us. We kept going, chins high, always forward.

  Now PPRS is stronger than ever. Each member has a talent that puts this team head and shoulders above the rest. We’re trying new things, community presentations, investigations and even a podcast. 

   I’m proud to be connected to everyone on this team.

A Message from Director Jason Carrasco

As a Licensed Marriage, Family, and Child Therapist I have over ten years of experience in completing mental health evaluations on children, adolescents, and adults. In many of these initial assessments and ongoing psychotherapy many of these clients believe they are having paranormal experiences. I evaluate these clients being both sensitive and mindful of their spiritual, religious, and/or cultural beliefs. I feel confident in helping families deal with these experiences and provide them with the coping skills they need to live a more balanced life.

    My name is Claire Forrest, I currently live in a 101 year old home in historical highlands in Pasadena. Recently, we have been experiencing many paranormal events. Such as: flickering light, radio interferences in conjunction with flickering lights, footsteps, voices, dark shadows and uneasy feelings. We don’t know how to explain this and we were hoping to get some answers, can you help us? thank you!

  2. Hi. My name is David Welch. I live in katy. I have been contemplating on contacting you for a while. I seriously believe my house is haunted. I moved in on March 1st. of this year. Everything was fine for a while until I decided to bring out a couple of stuffed animals my deceased mother gave me, so that I could pass them onto my daughter. Ever since, my motion sensor switches (one in the children’s bathroom and the other in my daughter’s bedroom) will trigger and the lights will turn on. That is only the beginning. My cat of seven years has all of a sudden began to freak out and start jumping at nothing and running around my house to the point to where she has literally pulled open my bathroom door while I was on the commode and ran into my closet to hide. Noises are non-stop. Guests have told me they have heard people talking and walking upstairs when there was nowhere here. Glass bowls have shattered, throwing pieces all over my kitchen when my house is vacant. The stories go on and on.

  3. Hello my name is Tim Ramos I have always had an interest in the paranormal. And I have had a couple of experiences in my life. That were cool and that I couldn’t debunk. If there’s ever a spot open or even a chance to go on an investigation I would love to be a part of that just to get the experience of a legitimate investigation.

Guys I went to the Downey cemetery and i heard someone say something saying “world gone” and I looked back and I saw a tree shake and I got scared so I ran but when I ran I just tripped but I hadn’t tripped over something and I saw a car in front of me turn on all of a sudden but there was no one around me.So please search the Downey cemetery just in case this happens again or the world will actually be gone like the voice I heard in my ear

  6. Hello everyone. My name is Angel and I believe to have some sort of bad spirt in my house. Everytime me or my girlfriend sleeps we have bad horrible nightmares which I never had. I have woken up and felt like I was being forced down and I hear “help me please”. Stuff around the house gets placed in different areas, I have pictures. The last straw is at night my girlfriend left me a voicemail and at the end of it you hear someone whisper over her “hang up the phone” no one is in the house. Please I have no idea what to do and it’s getting her depressed.

  7. Hi,
    I am currently living in a historical bungalow in Pasadena. I have been experience some bizarre activities, such as the stove coming, sounds of people talking, objects being moved around or miss placed, sounds of heavy walking in the house in the middle of the night. During these episodes, my cats are frozen and looking at the wall or air like they see something. One night my daughter saw some a dark figure, the shape of a person walking towards her, she started praying and it disappeared. Each time a bizarre activities happens, the cat’s go into attack mode possition between me whatever it is.

    Hello,

    I am a retired math teacher and I am not involved with the paranormal, but I have an interesting story and theory to tell.

    When I visited the Whaley House a couple of years ago one of the docents, a very sober woman and retired civil engineer, related that when she saw and heard ghosts her eyes and ears where not involved. She was at a loss to explain this phenomenon.

    Two weeks later I was at home watching part of a series on the brain (PBS) and the point was made that the brain is very flexible and adaptable. There was a grad student who had an electronic girdle strapped to him connected to a handheld electronic device.

    Electronic signals where then transmitted through the girdle and received through the skin on his torso. He wore it 24/7 and over months he could actually understand the words that where being transmitted. He didn’t need his eyes or ears to understand. In time his brain adapted until it could “read” the message.

    We know that our bodies chemistry can change given the circumstance. Woman when they are pregnant for example, and people under very stressful situations. And because of our evolutionary history, the body will employ many different techniques to protect itself so it may survive.

    A friend of mine related a story of how her mother payed her a visit shortly after she had passed. The mother came to her bedside and leaned over and kissed her daughter and said, “It will be all right.” My friends body was under tremendous stress given the death of her beloved mother.

    Would it be possible that my friend’s altered chemical state made her a “receiver” able to accept the comforting image and sound of her departed mother, thus reducing her stress, thus protecting her body?

    Perhaps the docent at the Whaley House has a certain biochemical makeup that makes her a “receiver” of ghosts all the time, and not just under very stressful situations. Or perhaps her brain was slowly conditioned to see ghosts having been a docent at the Whaley house for many years. It may be the case that only certain people can be receivers and that’s why other people never experience ghosts.

  10. I wish I would have known about you guys back in 2002. I grew up in what I believe is a haunted house in San Gabriel. Its been 15 years and to this day I still cant make any sense of my family’s experiences (shadow people, extreme cold spots-even in the hot summer months, objects thrown/moved- seen by multiple people, feeling of being watched) luckily my family moved out the summer of 2002 and since then, I’ve seen the place changing ownership at least 6 times. I wonder if this is due to those experiences. All of this has led me to believe in what cannot be seen. I would interested in learning more and finding a way to make sense of what I saw throughout the years.

  11. Hello, guys! My name is Kevin and I live here in Pasadena, near Old Town. I used to work security at Jake’s Billiards on Mills Alley. Our building is known to have some paranormal history; a tragedy occurred on that block. I have had some unusual experiences downstairs while alone there.
    I would like to know more about the history of that area as well as some unusual occurrences that have happened near Cabot & Sons Funeral Home.
    I am very interested in joining up with you guys sometime if you are ever investigating anywhere in this city.

  13. HI MY NAME IS MARIE VAUGHN YOU CAME TO MY HOUSE IN MORENO VALLEY CA LIKE AROUND 2014 OR 2015. WELL WE HAVE THE GHOST AND MORE OF THEM. A LITTLE BOY/GIRL A VERY TALL SHADOW A MALE IN MY ROOM A BABY THAT CRYS. THE KIDS KEEP MESSING WITH MY KIDS WHERE THEY CANT SLEEP. THE SHADOW TALL GHOST SCARES US ALL. I NEED YOUR HELP AGING PLEASE. I HATE WHEN MY KIDS CANT SLEEP AND THEY CRY AT NIGHT. PLEASE PLEASE HELP MY FAMILY AGING.

  15. my name is Anthony , my friends really need help. they live in hacienda heights in a trailer park community and it was rumored that they trailer home was built on a Indian burial ground. since October they been having burnt spots in different locations that cause concern to my friends. so they thought that it was someone in the neighborhood doing the mischievous activity. then they installed surveillance cameras and noticed a lot of activity going on in there home. in the middle of the night they took out all surveillance cameras three times and had to be replace by best buy. they burn the walls writing a burning the walls writing the letter (P) and in the top of the celling they wrote GET OUT and in January of this year 2019 they cause a fire in there back room in the closet. they are ruining my friends lives. it probably all started when the dogs dig holes in two spots and the dogs wont go pottie in the back yard now cause they are very scared. I saw one dog smelled the area and jump a little fence that’s away from the back yard. every time they go in the back yard they put their tail between their legs.. please help my friends, the investigator think its his wife and sister doing the fires, but its the paranormal.

  16. I have always been amazed by the “Paranormal”. I am probably closer to death than all Yall 🤣😂. (Sorry I have lived in Texas all my Life) Please keep me posted on any investigations, I would love to follow Yall on line, at least.
